Canton Fair: Phoebus New Solar Pole Light

The 138th China Import and Export Fair, commonly referred to as the Canton Fair, concluded successfully in Guangzhou not long ago. Hundreds of thousands of buyers from over 220 countries and regions attended this international trade show, which is referred to as the "barometer of China's foreign trade." Having been actively involved in the street lighting sector for 20 years, Phoebus accompanied its parent company Tianxiang Group to the debut of its most recent line of solar pole lights. This exhibition demonstrated China's prowess in intelligent manufacturing on a global scale and gave the business significant impetus to expand internationally.

Technology innovation has been a key differentiator for Phoebus and its parent company, Tianxiang, for the past 20 years. Years of research and development have resulted in the new generation of solar pole lights that are on display. Compared to traditional products, this product achieves breakthroughs in energy efficiency, intelligent control, and durability. It utilizes high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar panels, achieving a 23% photoelectric conversion efficiency. Combined with a large-capacity lithium-iron-phosphate battery, it provides 2-3 days of continuous lighting, even in rainy weather. Equipped with a proprietary intelligent control system, it allows for remote brightness adjustment and operating status monitoring via a remote control, automatically switching operating modes based on ambient light conditions for precise energy distribution. The poles are constructed from high-quality steel, specially treated for corrosion and wind erosion resistance, and are designed to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C. Their service life is up to 15 years, far exceeding the industry average.

During the exhibition, the Tianxiang Group booth was bustling with visitors. Mr. Chen, a Southeast Asian buyer, expressed his interest in cooperation on the spot: "Our country is promoting rural electrification. This solar street light requires no cabling, and its installation cost is 30% lower than traditional products, making it a perfect fit for our needs." A European municipal engineering contractor expressed strong interest in the product's intelligent control features, and the two parties reached a preliminary agreement on the customized development of a smart urban lighting system. According to statistics, the exhibition welcomed over 300 global buyers and secured over 20 orders from 12 countries and regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

For Phoebus, the value of the Canton Fair lies not only in the orders it secured but also in providing a "lookout tower" for insight into global market demand. Through in-depth discussions with buyers from different regions, the team accurately identified two major trends: surging demand for cost-effective green lighting products in emerging markets and an increasing emphasis on the integration of lighting equipment and smart city applications in developed countries. This market feedback will directly guide the company's future R&D direction, driving product upgrades towards greater energy efficiency, greater intelligence, and greater adaptability.

Twenty years of industry experience have built a solid foundation, and the Canton Fair has broadened its global perspective. This exhibition has reinforced Phoebus's conviction that, guided by technological innovation and embracing the global market, the company will continue to lead the way in the green lighting race. Going forward, Phoebus will work with its parent company, Tianxiang, to translate the trust and opportunities gained at the Canton Fair into tangible results, allowing intelligently manufactured Chinese streetlights to illuminate the development paths of even more countries and regions.
