This project was developed for small- and medium-scale outdoor lighting applications in the United States. The system combines an 18W solar garden light with a 3.3-meter light pole and can be used for commercial sidewalks, villa courtyards, park landscapes, community walkways and rural outdoor areas requiring dependable nighttime illumination.
The integrated system includes a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel, a lithium iron phosphate battery and an MPPT intelligent controller. Because the system operates independently from the utility grid, it eliminates conventional power connections, underground wiring and trenching. The 18W LED light source provides a stated luminous efficacy of 130–150 lm/W, while the anti-glare optical design creates softer and more diffused illumination for pedestrian-oriented outdoor spaces.
The battery system is designed to operate across significant temperature changes, supporting applications ranging from colder northern regions to warmer southern states. The original project page also highlights resistance to rain, snow and coastal salt-air exposure, together with waterproofing, wind resistance and a protective coating on the 3.3-meter pole for long-term outdoor use.
With no grid electricity consumption, simplified installation and an LED lifespan stated at more than 50,000 hours, the system is suitable for new construction and outdoor lighting renovation projects where buyers need to balance energy efficiency, installation cost and routine maintenance.

Outdoor lighting requirements vary considerably across the United States. Northern projects may face low temperatures and snow, southern locations may experience sustained heat, while coastal developments require greater attention to humidity and salt-air exposure. For this project, the lithium iron phosphate battery, protected luminaire structure and coated light pole were selected to support operation across these changing environmental conditions.
The solar panel, battery, LED source and intelligent controller operate as an independent system, eliminating the need for utility connections, underground cables and extensive trenching. This makes the solution suitable for parks, villa courtyards, rural areas and existing sites where conventional electrical construction would increase labor costs, disturb completed landscaping or extend the installation schedule.
The project combines an 18W LED source with a stated efficiency of 130–150 lm/W and anti-glare light distribution. Instead of producing harsh concentrated light, the optical design provides softer, diffused illumination for sidewalks, community paths and landscaped areas. The MPPT controller, monocrystalline panel and long-life LED source also help balance solar-energy collection, nighttime performance and long-term maintenance requirements.
