The Guizhou Rural Revitalization Comprehensive Lighting Project involved rural roads with narrow carriageways, constrained construction conditions and insufficient grid coverage. The main contractor therefore required an experienced solar street light OEM manufacturer capable of providing a stable and integrated lighting solution for remote and off-grid locations.
Based on the actual conditions of the rural roads, Phoebus Lighting developed a customized system combining 3.5-meter lightweight lamp poles with high-efficiency energy-storage batteries. The system operates independently from the utility grid, simplifies installation and balances illumination performance, battery endurance and structural safety. It is suitable for village roads, township access roads and other remote-area lighting applications.
Phoebus Lighting completed the mass production and delivery of 8,000 customized solar street lights within 75 days. The products passed IP66 waterproof certification and low-temperature weather-resistance testing, and maintained stable lighting after seven consecutive days of overcast and rainy conditions. The completed system covered 12 townships, and the project team was recognized by the local government as an Outstanding Supplier for Lighting Engineering Projects.

The supplied solar street lights passed IP66 waterproof certification and low-temperature weather-resistance testing. They also maintained stable illumination after seven consecutive days of cloudy and rainy weather, addressing a key concern for rural buyers: whether an off-grid system can continue operating when solar charging conditions are temporarily unfavorable.
