Phoebus Lighting’s all-in-one solar street lights are widely used in Southeast Asia, where abundant year-round sunlight provides suitable conditions for solar-powered outdoor lighting. Their integrated structure replaces the more complex appearance of traditional street lighting systems with clean lines that can be used in both modern urban areas and rural environments.
Each system integrates a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel, LED light source, battery and intelligent controller. Because the system operates independently from the utility grid, it does not require conventional underground cabling and is suitable for roads or public areas where extending grid power would be difficult or costly.
The IP65-rated design is intended for hot and rainy outdoor environments. High-temperature components support operation under demanding climate conditions, while automatic light control switches the fixture on at sunset and off at sunrise. Motion-detection dimming can further reduce unnecessary energy use during periods of low pedestrian activity.
Different power configurations can be selected according to the application:
30W: Rural roads and park paths
40W: Wider rural roads and industrial park roads
50W: Secondary urban roads, parks and squares
60W: Urban branch roads and scenic-area roads
80W: Main-road auxiliary lighting and large squares
100W: Main roads and highway service areas with higher lighting requirements
Solar street lights should not use the same panel, battery and operating program in every market. For projects in Southeast Asia, Phoebus Lighting considers abundant sunlight together with high temperatures, heavy rainfall and humidity. The IP65-rated enclosure, high-temperature components and corrosion-resistant structure help the system remain suitable for demanding tropical outdoor environments.
The integrated structure combines the solar panel, battery, LED module and controller into one fixture, eliminating the need for underground power cables and extensive trenching. This makes the system particularly suitable for rural roads, remote communities, industrial park roads and new developments where grid extension would increase construction time and cost.
Phoebus Lighting offers multiple power configurations rather than applying one model to every road. Fixture power can be matched to rural paths, wider industrial roads, urban branch roads, public squares or highway service areas. Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and motion-detection dimming also help balance required illumination with available battery capacity and nightly energy consumption.
